The Backrest, support device for toilets, bidets and the like, has been introduced into the Australian Standard for Access and Mobility to comply with the changing requirements for sanitary facilities.
The Backrest provides a support that improves the comfort of using a toilet, while simultaneously providing an acceptable level of safety for disabled, aged and infirmed.
